Dr Josh Trewin. Josh has a background in sport science with a PhD from Auckland University of Technology and experience working in Professional Football in North America, with both male and female athletes. In that time, Josh learnt a lot about visualising and reporting on both sport science and technical data from a variety of sources. Josh continues to provide tutorials and help through YouTube videos and blogs on his Futbol AnalysR website.
Dr Paul Bradley. Paul is a world leading authority on match and training analysis. He is the author of the unique book ‘Football Decoded’, which was released on Amazon in 2020. He is currently a Football Science Consultant for elite teams, world governing bodies and technology companies. He has >15 years of experience in the football science area and has published >80 papers and has >6000 citations in the science & football area.
Ricardo Alves. Ricardo currently leads the performance analysis process at CD Tondela, a Portuguese 1stdivision club. He specialises in visualising the game through various forms including video telestration. He merges this applied knowledge with an academic background through his PhD research in Game Analysis at FCDEF-UC.
Pedro Mendonça
Pedro has a vast amount of coaching experience at an array of academies including Real Madrid and FC Porto and is a UEFA B licence holder. To support his coaching activities, he specialises in video telestration with special reference to visualising training drills. In addition to his extensive practitioner skills, he also has a Masters in Sport Performance from UPO. He is the Founder of the Football Coaches Lyceum and book author of Tactical Periodization: A Practical Application for the Game Model of the FC Bayern Munich of Jupp Heynckes, Pep’s Fútbol using Tactical Periodization, The Methods of Maurizio Sarri & Unai Emery’s Secrets.
Andres Lopez Saggarra. Andre is currently a PhD student and Sport Scientist at WIMU. He is a specialist in the quantification and visualisation of training and match demands. He is passionate about understanding not just ‘what’ players do physically on the field of play but also ‘how’ and ‘why’ they perform physically demanding actions. To enable him to tease out trends he layers data with visual context to aid interpretation and translation.
Liam Bailey. Liam is a Performance Data Analyst at SkillCorner and was previously a Software Engineering student at Edinburgh Napier University. His role aims to support the use of data in the player recruitment process. This involves assisting clubs, national federations & player agencies with data analytics & player benchmarking. The second component of his role includes proactive research projects that can increase the value proposition of SkillCorner data to their users.
